Latvijas Krājbanka is a universal network commercial bank offering qualitative services based on modern technologies to businesses and private individuals in Latvia and abroad.

Our bank has the greatest number of traditions among commercial banks in Latvia, serving clients for more than 85 years. The bank started its activity in 1924 as the Latvian Postal Service Savings Bank. The bank was always distinguished with a wide and developed client service network throughout Latvia, allowing serving clients easily and quickly in all towns and regions of Latvia. For the time being there are 115 clients service centres in Latvia, 34 of which are the mini banks. Latvijas Krājbanka ranks the first place among Latvian commercial banks after number of client service centres. Latvijas Krājbanka has 194 Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and the number is growing.

Latvijas Krājbanka is one of the biggest providers of bank services to private individuals in Latvia. More than 91% of all privatization certificates accounts in Latvia are being served in Krājbanka. The activity of Krājbanka is also directed towards attracting corporate clients by offering them service that meet today’s and future demands.

We are constantly developing our services by implementing new and profitable investment and savings types, pension plans, by improving payment cards, Online banking systems, Telephone banking and Mobile banking. We offer Consumption loans and Mortgage loan possibilities. Krājbanka also expands the choice of product offered to clients with new cards on a regular basis, for instance, “Celebration card”, “Chocolate card”, „Dižkarte”, deposit account „Duets” card. The offer is always diversified with Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn deposits, new services in the area of insurance, different possibilities for private individuals and legal entities to accumulate 2nd and 3rd tier additional pensions, as well as leasing and other services.

In 2003 the privatization of Krājbanka ended, and now private shareholders and the banks employees hold 100% of the bank’s shares. On September 20th 2005 one of the biggest commercial banks in Lithuania – Snoras became the main shareholder of the AS "Latvijas Krājbanka".

Already for several years Latvijas Krājbanka is contributing to educational, musical and cultural life of Latvia, by supporting special events, ensuring availability of really qualitative art events and development of cultural processes not only in the capital city, but also in Latvian regions. The XXIV Overall Latvian Song and XIV Dance Celebration, the painting campaign „The world’s biggest choir” and the Latvian Music Record Awards ceremony can be considered the most significant events supported during the last year. Krājbanka has also organized a scholarship competition for youth „Aeroplāns”, supported 7 of the Vītols Fund scholarship holders, by granting them regular monthly scholarship for the whole period of studies, as well as took part in the campaign "Iespējamā misija" (Mission Possible) and in the project  „Latvia`s Unity belt”.
