Telephone Banking from Latvijas Krājbanka allows you to have up-to-date information about your account and to make transfers and deposits quickly and conveniently by phone.

Krājbanka offers two modes of telephone banking – read-only and transaction mode. The read-only mode enables the customer to receive information about his/her account balances and transactions performed. It also enables the customer to receive consultations on all the services offered by the bank. The transaction mode enables the customer both to receive information and to effect payments from his/her phone.

Telephone Banking is accessible on workdays from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM and on Saturdays from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM Latvian time (GMS + 1 hour).

How to use Telephone Banking

• Call Latvijas Krājbanka information line at 67092020;
• Tell the operator your ID data - the client number in remote banking systems and the password;
• After you are identified, you will be able to use Telephone Banking in the informative mode;
• To make a transfer, deposit or give another order to the Bank, you will have to recite your Code card number and a code from the card or code from the Code calculator;
• After authorization, you will provide the information on the order, and the order will take place immediately.

Latvijas Krājbanka guarantees the security and stability of Telephone Banking, making use of several levels of protection for that purpose:

•  Unauthorized use of Telephone Banking in read-only mode is prevented through authorization tools which are defined in the agreement on the service:
  • customer number in remote banking systems,
  • Telephone Banking password;
• The security of your transactions is guaranteed by the authorization codes from the Code card or the Code calculator;
• In transaction mode, you will use the Code card number and a code from the Code card or a code from the Code calculator to make transfers and deposits and to replenish deposits;
• You can send several transfers to Latvijas Krājbanka during one session and with one code, but if you make or replenish a deposit, you can use the code for only one transaction;
