Services related to cash transactions allow you to make payments, exchange currencies and conduct other operations with cash.
All of the Krājbanka Client Service Centers operate in an online regime, so cash payments at any Client Service Center mean that the money is deposited in your account immediately and regardless of where your account was opened.
Cash operations
Cash operations allow you to:
-
Deposit money into your account;
-
Invest in a term deposit;
-
Deposit cash in another account;
-
Make cash transfers to banks in Latvia or abroad;
-
Pay cash to a client in a currency other than that of the account (for specific face values, too);
-
Exchange cash to change the face value;
-
Engage in currency exchange operations;
-
Check foreign currencies;
-
Submit old or damaged notes and receive new ones in their place;
-
Receive cash and make payments on a 24/7 basis at the bank’s ATMs.
You can receive cash at your nearest Krājbanka Client Service Center simply by asking for it (and stating the necessary data) or by submitting cash checks.
There are limits to the amount of cash that Krājbanka can issue in LVL, USD or EUR (these are listed at Client Service Centers), and if the limits are to be exceeded, the client must speak to the bank at least one working day in advance. In case other currencies are needed, the client must approach the bank two days in advance.
A checkbook
You can obtain a checkbook at any of Krājbanka Client Serive Centers. You can then use the checkbook to make payments in lats and in currencies which Krājbanka has cash supplies of.
When signing a check, an individual authorises someone else to withdraw a specific amount of money from their account. Krājbanka pays the sum that is specified on the check to the designated recipient. The recipient must appear in person.
